Nowadays, remote sensing and space technology is developing fast and vigorously in China. Enterprises play more important role in the development and application of remote sensing and space technology, including the national information project—the Digital China project.Considering to mutually share resources, to strengthen communication and cooperation and promote mutual development, Apollo Beijing Office took part in the International Symposium of Remote Sensing and Space Technology for Multi-disciplinary Research and Application & the 2nd IMAPP Training Workshop, which was sponsored by Peking University (PKU) and China National Remote Sensing Center. This symposium emphasized particularly on the application in the multidisciplinary and multi-areas of weather, ocean, land resources, environment protection, city construction etc.

  Upon the invitation of the host, Mr. Liu Faqun, the assistant general manager, was present and delivered a speech. Taking this occasion, Mr. Liu communicated extensively with the experts and professors from various countries in respect of the development of remote sensing technology, GIS technology and space technology.
